Is Vidhara legal advice?
No. Vidhara explains the law for learning. It is not advice, it is not a substitute for a lawyer, and it should not be relied on to decide anything about a real matter.
What does it cost?
The bare acts, the old⇄new mapping and the explanations are free. Charging for access to the text of the law is not something we are willing to do.
Which laws are covered?
The IPC, CrPC and Indian Evidence Act, their replacements the BNS, BNSS and BSA, and the Constitution — with the official mapping between the old and new criminal codes.
Is there an app?
Android is the primary product and is in active development for the Play Store. The web reader is live now. iOS ships later from the same codebase.
Who is it for?
Law students, judiciary aspirants and advocates — anyone who needs the primary source and a clear explanation of it, rather than a summary of a summary.
